  1. When Australia was much poorer the libraries existed to teach and allow free reading space.Free choice was given to the child to read a book of their choice. Please keep this place sacred.Many a great writer started thinking and dreaming in a school library.

    • So true, Rose. Let’s hope the Library Inquiry commissioners come up with some positive way to go forward and that the powers that be, listen.
